How are Entries Organised
Entries in this resource are organised alphabetically in English. It is further organized into categories such as Colours, Animals, and Phrases. Each entry lists the English word at the top, followed by the written Mohawk translation. Below this is a link for users to Suggest an Alternative for the word, however, these links no longer work. This is followed by a list of the categories the word belongs to. At the bottom of the entry, the user can navigate to the next word or previous word in the category.
Users can access entries through searching words in the search bar on the homepage of the resource, however, this feature no longer works. Entries can also be accessed through the Categories tab or on the homepage in a list.

Other Notes
In 2024, this resource released a statement saying that they would be forced to shut down due to a security breach and ongoing cyber attack. They announced that they would be taking the resource down for a time, but hope to update and republish the website on a secure server with the support of Mohawk University. The website has not been re-published as of July 2025.
As this resource can only be accessed via the WayBack Machine, a website which records past renditions of websites, not all resources and entries are available.
On the website, there is an option switch the language from English to Mohawk, however, no Mohawk version for the website exists within the WayBack Machine. The map in this resource can also no longer be viewed.
The Language Information tab provides information including the number of speakers, the language classification, the language status, and the characters used to write the language.
The Blog tab of this resource contains archived blog posts about the Mohawk language and communities that use it. Some include translation in Mohawk.
The Resources tab provides links to numerous resources on the Mohawk language for users to access.
This resource invites users to contribute words, notes, and recommendations to the dictionary. It invites people to donate to the project and interact with the resource on social media. Users can also register for the website and log into it. However, as the website is no longer active, these functions likely do not work.
