Where is Information Coming from

Entries found in this dictionary were compiled from three main sources, the largest of which being William Strachey’s 1624 manuscript The Historie of Travaile into Virginia Britannia. Additional forms were taken from a word list included in a 1607 explorer’s narrative edited by Philip Barbour, and a 1705 book The History and Present State of Virginia by Robert Beverly. Grammatical information and classifications come from previous works by linguists.
